Grandpa Cannon hadn't been feeling well for a few days, so Grandma took him to the ER on Sunday night were they found that he had appendicitis!
They weren't going to do surgery right away but ended up doing it when they found that his appendix had ruptured and they needed to get in there and clean it all out.
After surgery he was pretty nauseated, but did well. He was on IV antibiotics and was told he could go home in a day or 2.
The next day he was sitting up and able to eat again.
Such a trooper!
Then on Wednesday he was sent home!
From what I know he is recovering very well and should be back to his old self in a couple weeks or so.
So glad everything worked out well Grandpa!
