He's not listening.

Well, he obviously didn't listen from last time when I told him to stop growing! This past week, we have put him in a bigger size diaper and also switched out his 0-3 month clothing for 3-6 month.

It at last makes me feel a little better that he is going to 6 MONTHS in a few days and he's barely into 3-6 month clothes. But then I remember that clothing sizes are never accurate. So boo.

Here's to new clothes and everything being big on him again for a little while at least!

Shave and a Haircut. Two bits!

I caved.
We (I) finally agreed to give him a haircut.

It was getting a little out of control

 Yup. Couldn't do it.
 So Daddy did!
 Whaaaaa!
But the finished product is SO cute! Would you expect anything less, than a faux hawk from his parents?
He looks so much like a little boy now, and not a baby anymore. Other than that, I am LOVING the shave and a haircut!

Two bits!

My rocker baby

I had some fun with his hair today. It is one good way to keep it out of his eyes since I refuse to cut it! Also, any girls that we have better have as much or they may have jealousy issues...

Baby's first trip to the Zoo.

Before I was a mom (that is still weird for me to say by the way), I always thought it was kinda dumb for parents to take their babies to places like the park... ball games... Lake Powell... the zoo...
Only because what is a tiny baby going to do? Are they even going to know where they are? What is the purpose of taking a baby there? They're not going to remember!

Then I became a mom. I get it. It is not what the baby will be experiencing, it is what the parents will.

Today was Tanner's first trip to Hogle Zoo.
As you can see, he got more entertainment chewing on the zoo's map, then anything else.
What came first? The mommy or the egg?
Always have to get a picture with the lion drinking fountain.
With cousins Andrew and Julie. Notice Kollin's hand holding Tanner? haha!
 Love my boys.

We are still wondering if he even noticed the animals or not.

Probably didn't notice these ones... since his hat most likely blocked them.
It was crazy how close this Rhino got. It scared Julie. Tanner, of course, was not phased.
Maybe the next time we go he'll notice more?

Tanner, Chloe. Chloe, Tanner.

I finally got some pictures of Tanner "playing" with Chloe. I love how well she puts up with him!

Cannon cousin pictures

The weekend we got home from Lake Powell, it was figured out that all of the cousins would be in town for about 20 hours. So we all got together to get our little basketball team pictures!

All of the grandkids so far are boys, and there are five. So Gwen got matching little basketball jerseys. How cute!
I think it's been decided that Tanner is going to be the forward, and Wayne is Shaq the center.
 Slam dunk!
 Oooo... BIG ball!
Libby and Bippy hanging out with Andrew and Wayne.
 Grandma Cannon with Cole.
 Daddy with Tanner.
Some of the sisters and kids taking a break.
It was next to impossible to get Wayne to hold still. Such an active kid!
Something else next to impossible? Posing 5 little boys ages 3 and under....
The only one that sat still and behaved perfectly was little Cole. Such a sweetie!
We tried a change of scenery to try to get a good shot.

 And a change in pose.
 Food break!
Aunt Bippy got clobbered with nephews!
 Another change of scenery....
We finally gave up and played in the fountain.

I am just hoping that Britta got a good shot! I am sure she did and the finished product will look absolutely amazing! Can't wait to see!
